My name is Shiner, and I'm a dog. I was born in Lockhart, TX in a rescue shelter - that's right, the BBQ capitol of Texas! My real mom was a dachshund/beagle mix and we don't know who my daddy was... I was adopted in Austin by my new mommy and daddy, Sara and Jake, on November 1, 2008 when I was only 10 weeks old (when I was tiny and cute - suckers!). They named me Shiner Black after the beverage brewed in TX. I love my new home - complete with my humans, toys, treats and belly rubs!
