Jack is a rescue from the animal control shelter in Eaton County, Michigan. We got him when he was about seven years old, abandoned by his family because he wouldn't hunt well enough. He is the sweetest friend I could hope for, always near me and cuddling.

Clara was a rescue from the Eaton County Animal Control Shelter in lower Michigan. She's a sweet older girl who has obviously had many litters. We think she was used for breeding, then dumped when she was too old. She is SUCH a loving girl, she just needed a home to love her. She snores as loud as my husband! She also loves rawhide bones and will collect all of them in the house into a pile and then sit on them :)

Porter is the smartest and best dog in the world. Well, at least according to his daddy! He was our first dog, a rescue from the North St Louis County Animal Control Shelter. He thinks he is a bear, but he's a very nice bear.
