Puppy: No Puppies
Profile: I am Sadie's mommy. We met Sadie when she was 5 weeks old. We had just lost two of our dear canine children in 2008, and were feeling the pain. My husband and I have had doggies ever since we purchased our home. We have had those precious ones who ended up FREE TO A GOOD HOME. Our home is a very good home. My husband is physically challenged MS, and another neurological condition. I am a physical mess. Our doggies KEEP us up, active, and I feel alive. I am 54, and can no longer consider myself middle aged, unless I am going to live to be 108, and that is VERY UNLIKELY. Sadie is our new baby, We have our Maltese/Bisson mixture Snowball... he is 8 years old, and has my heart. Unfortunately, we had to let Trumpet, our pure bred Black poodle go "home" 2 years ago, he was 14, and just lost. In October we had to let Nikki, my Schnoozer/poodle mixture go home too, she was 14, and just worn out. It was shortly after that we found out that Dixie, our Chow/German Shepard mixture had Cancer in her bottom jaw. We had it taken care of surgically, and hoped for the best. It came back so aggressively, that Dixie was allowed to go home, New Year's eve day of 2008... she would have been 14 on January 1 2009. We love our animals, treat them with reverence, respect, love, and enthusiasm. They complete us as people, and enhance our souls as co-inhabitants of Spaceship Earth. Sadie brought me to this site, as when we met her she was the size her HEAD is now... I keyed in the phrase: When puppy becomes the size of a moose, and here we are. I forgot to mention, Sadie is 11 weeks old now, weighs 25 pounds, Is pure black, as her Daddy was a black Lab, and Momma is a pure bred Rotty. Sadie has front paws like sand scoops, and is growing in quantum leaps. She is our love; like black velvet. She is going to be a moose.
