Profile: One frightening night, I had woken up from a terrible nightmare that Jezzabelle had been attacked and killed by coyotes. Scared and crying after the nightmare, Jezzie hopped on to the bed, licked my hand, and in her own doggy way, told me everything was gonna be alright. Two days later, she went missing. Struck by grief, I thought my nightmare was a warning. I spent two months thinking my dog had been killed by coyotes. Someone finally read one of the fliers I posted, called me from a blocked number, and said "Your dog is alive, but staying with us. Goodbye" It was probably the worst thing to ever happen to me... Through Jezzabelle's loss, I've gained so much. I've rescued two other pugs who were either beaten by their owner or other dog, and another one who just wasn't properly taken care of. I got them the proper vet care they needed, and found them forever loving homes. I got myself two new babies to keep. Elliebean and Zimothy. Jezzabelle will never be forgotten. I'm still fighting to this day to bring justice to the thief who took my precious baby.
