We picked up Ranger from his breeder at just over 8 weeks, and he was a cheeky (although a bit skittish) puppy. Sadly at about 9 months of age he began to have real health issues and has since had major surgery for a liver condition, and now at only age 4 suffers from arthritis. As a retriever he is a bit of a dud (doesn't really swim, can't catch, doesn't fetch), but as a dog he is a loving companion and a total sweetheart. He loves just fitting into your lap for cuddles, and curling up in the comfiest part of the bed. He is best friends with his "sister" Sally - and is always overjoyed when they reunite after any period of separation :P
View ProfileSally is a beautiful goldie girl. The runt and pale puppy of her litter she was the last to sell, luckily for us, and we picked her up at 9 weeks of age. A retriever through and through she loves to swim, loves to fetch and loves to find presents to give you when you come home (a trait she picked up from her mother). She is a quiet girl, but fiercely loyal and a joy to own.
