Wilson found us on a cold day in November of 2007. My husband and I had been searching the SPCA for a dog that would fit our life style. We didn't want a large dog and our local SPCA usually didn't carry puppies. Then suddenly a worker walks down the aisle caring a little brown fur ball in a gray towel. I asked the man if that was a dog he was holding. He looked down at the ball of fur and said, "See I told you that you wouldn't even make it to the kennel and you'd be adopted." My heart melted once I saw his cute little nose and big eyes. I looked at my husband and gave him the same puppy dog look that I saw coming from the towel. It didn't take any time at all for us to adopt my best friend. It didn't take long to figure out a good name for him. Since he was all brown with a line of white fur up his belly, we called him Wilson. (like a football)
