Chewie's Mom was a poodle, but we don't know what his dad was. Since we thought he looks a lot like Chewbacca from Star Wars, and he chews on things, the name "Chewie" stuck. He's always happy to see us, and is amazingly frisky and bouncy, jumping as high as our knees to greet us when excited! He does have soft snuggle times (he and we are not always synchronized in our opinions about exactly when those times should be, however!!!!)He almost always falls asleep in the shower and in the bathtub. He can go up stairs, but going down is too scary yet. Chewie lives on ten acres in a log cabin near Reno, Nevada with plenty of rabbits to chase. He looks pretty remorseful about that Bush photo...

In Loving MemoryBosco was named after the chocolate-malt drink mix of the same color. He was a Pug-Dachshund mix. He was blind and deaf in his later years, and disappeared late in 2009.
