Profile: I am a retired teacher from Texas. I haven't been much for keeping a pet for many years, but I met my gentleman friend's mother's dog and was entranced. I commented that if I could have a dog like Rosie I might get one. Well, Rosie was going to meet a new man and voila...puppies. Her new man was a Teddy also. Sadly, Pepper was killed 2 weeks before the puppies were born by a much larger dog that apparently wasn't crazy about small, active Teddy's! My new puppy is Bella, a tri-color Teddy Roosevelt Terrier. She is now 18 weeks old. I haven't had a pet since I was a child and I'm really enjoying Bella. She so much fun! She's energetic, but loves to nap in my lap or beside me on the sofa. Paper training is going well, if a little slow, since I'm a newbie at this! We hope to get it transitioned to outdoors soon! I know she's going to hold a special place in our hearts forever!

Bella was born in Tennessee. Her human grandparents were the breeders. She was picked out of the litter soon after she was born and she flew to Houston to live in her forever home in March. She is a Teddy Roosevelt Terrier and is the light of our lives around here! She is active, funny, and smart. She does, however, like a good nap in Mom's lap or beside Mom against her leg. She loves to give kisses and know what kiss, kiss means! She is a part of the family already and is as much trouble as a toddler! :)View Profile
