We adopted Ivy after her 5 year racing life. Ivy still carries the scars of her racing muzzle on her face, but now she only runs for the joy of it, when she wants to. She has a free run every day on our 6 km of trails on our farm. The rest of her days are spent on a couch or a bed. Ivy was featured as a daily grown up puppy in 2008.
View ProfileWillow is a bluetick beagle cross. We adopted her from the Humane Society when she was 6 months old. She had been abandoned in the woods with her brother, when the did not sell as Christmas puppies. Willow's favorite pastime is catching "flying squirrel" (soft) frisbees, and then gathering up all 3 in her mouth when she decides the game is over. She also loves her free runs each day on our farm's 6 km of trails with her adopted sister, Ivy. She considers it her duty to come to the barn with me each night to bring the horses in, and to make sure Grace, our barn cat, is safely in for the night.
