Malnourished and abandoned along a farm field at 6 weeks old along with his brother, he was brought in to the local animal shelter by a kind passerby. After rehabilitation and no interested takers for a new home, he and his brother (then named Abbott and Costello) were brought across state to the big city. Less than 24 hours later, both had new homes and Nugget (then Abbott) came home with us. He is a happy dog, loves attention, loves kids, and lives for playing fetch. He's incredibly expressive and a great companion.
