Chance is our oldest dog he's 7 years old. He's a purebred golden with AKC papers and blue blood lines. We got him from a neighbor who was too old to care for him anymore. He's a smaller golden all of our other dogs tower over him ... but still know he's boss! We love Chance very much!!!!!!View Profile
We saw her at that shelter and we couldn't leave her there. We brought her home and she loves it here. She's a very mellow and quiet one that loves to cuddle. (:View Profile
Layla is a 6 mo old puppy we rescued from a shelter after they took them from a puppy mill. She is one of the very few that made it and was healthy enough to be given a new home! She loves to run, play, run and run more and more!!!!!!View Profile
Angel is 3 years old and the barkiest dog you will ever meet!!! She seriously barks at every little thing. We got her from a guy selling puppies from his car. We knew something was up and called the cops after paying $10- for this little girl. Turns out he was a obsessed back yard breeder! I'm so glad we could have saved her. She has had a few problems with her health but we never gave up on her, no dog deserves to be given up on. ~This has nothing to do with her story, as she's never had these problems before, but i just want to share a quick thing with you... I recently read a book by a "dog trainer" (Yeah... You could barely call her that!) who says right in her book : ' If all hope is gone out of you and you have tried all you can to fix bad behaviors with your dog... And he still has the issues, i believe the best and kindest thing to do is to put them down.' THIS MADE ME FURIOUS!!!! >:( No dog should EVER EVER EVER be given up on... And really, there's never enough you can do to train a dog. They're ALWAYS learning, even if you don't think they are. They're watching you, just like a child. They learn from you and if you keep working with them you will rid them of their bad habits therefore not having to be cruel and put them down for no fault of their own. It's not their fault they have problem's they are NOT BORN WITH IT. Who ever thinks that needs to get it STRAIT RIGHT NOW. There is no such thing as a bad dog, only a bad person who never taught the dog right.~ (this is written by my dad) (: (:View Profile
