Profile: Minature Pinschers are so much fun! I understand they are a whole lot of dog in a tiny container and NOT for everyone...but MOSTLY we are laughing at our little girls antics. If there was an an academy award for best pooch actress in a comedy series...she'd take the prize! Our first Min-Pin(Gingerbread) came to us via a rescue situation and totally won our hearts over in a matter of hours. After she passed away...I was devastated and my husband too, but HE finds another lil' min-pin (Red, not blk/tan like Gingerbread) and this itty-bitty baby (she weighed under 2lbs) totally starting bossing us around and still does!! Ha, ha! It's hard NOT to spoil our little love bug, but we did hire a trainer when she was a pup to help us teach Penny what is and what is not ok in our house. She learned fast and then taught us a few things, too!!(laughing) Shortly after we got Penny, I got a phone call about another Min-Pin that needed to be rescued from a friend who knew a friend who worked at the Animal Hospital. So off we go to investigate and WHAM-O! The sweetest Min-Pin I have ever met ends up coming home with us. This dog had a tough start in life, but today she lives like a Queen. My dad had passed away about 6 months before we met this new addition and my mom was now alone after 53 years of marriage and a lifetime friendship. She was devastated. Beyond sad. She had hinted that maybe she would get a dog. Now we have 2~ and I really have my hands full with 2 Min-Pins. My mom comes over to meet our latest addition and those two have been inseparable since. It is a riot. I mean seriously a MIin-Pin is the last breed of dog you would consider as a companion for a little elderly woman but Ag & Katie are two little pee's in a pod. They go everywhere and do everything together. So cute. We thought we were saving Katie's life and it turns out...she saved my mom's life. That dog is so sensitive to my mom's physical capabilities and is so obedient she really is a little angeldog. I am so happy for both of them. We are a Min-Pin lovin' family!!

Penny is the sweetest lil' red Min-Pin. We love our girl. She will be 5 in November. This is obviously her baby pictre, but she still has alot of puppy in her. She loves running around in our fenced in yard chasing squirrels or just doing laps. As much as she love sunbathing, she refuses to swim. She freaks out when we dive in the pool and barks until we surface again. Mostly, she really wants to shake her squeaky toys making as much noise as possible. But at the end of the day she is a snuggly lil' love bug...who snores. Ha! I will download some more recent pics as soon as I can figure out how to accomplish that.View Profile
