I think this is one of the best photographs I've seen on this site. What gorgeous coloration. If he's half golden, you have at least 50% sweetheart for life. The Chow shows up in the more distinct and handsome features. What a great combination. This looks like a professional photographer's work. The dish picture is great too.

We just rescued a puppy that looks just like Alex, any chance you can post current photos of him so we can see what our little guy will look like? Has he grown up to be a well behaved boy?

I am like MommyFeelGood, except that my rescue is much older (9 or 10 yrs). Dewey was rescued from an animal hoarder in a town near us. We know that Dewey is Shepherd, Rottweiler, and chow mix (kind of hard to miss the chow when he has a solid black tongue). Alex is adorable!!! I saw the first pic and looked at it and said "Oh my goodness, that is exactly the way I pictured how Dewey must have looked when he was a puppy. I hope you guys have a long happy life together.
