Buddy's aunt says: Buddy's name is short for Budweiser. He also goes by Bud sometimes. Buddy is a working dog; he goes to work every day with his dad, Jeff, framing houses. Jeff got Buddy when he was just seven weeks old, and he has been a bundle of energy the whole time. He has a Siberian husky sister, Dakota, that he spends all his time with. He loves to give her kisses. Buddy will make a toy out of whatever you put in from of him. He is a very smart dog and loves to please us. He also loves to get treats for sitting and shaking.

I love your puppy. We got our Buddy (Bud Light) when he was 4 weeks old. He will be 12 on Christmas Eve. He looked just like this picture when he was a puppy. He has been the best family member all these years. Enjoy your Buddy for many years, and be careful around frisbees. (Even though our Buddy is almost 12, a frisbee makes him act two again!)
Buddy has to be the best name for a Labrador, ever. Mine has a different name but I call him "Bud" 'cause we're tight.

If Buddy grows into those paws, well, look out. He is really a great looking puppy. Our friends raise Labs and I've gotten very fond of their sweet faces. Always eager to please, and hard to get mad at even when they are very naughty. Love him to bits!
I think most Lab pups must look the same...because Buddy looks like my Lilly! Sweet, adorable and full of it. She is now settling a "little" since she is 11 months old. I like that Buddy goes to work. Lilly goes to the office with her dad and has just graduated so she doesn't have to be in the cage

Katie and I agree, there's nothing better than a Lab (of course, Kate herself is a bit biased because she IS a yellow lab). Buddy is the best example of a puppy ever, with those ears, those amazing eyes and good lord the size of those paws! Hope Buddy makes you laugh as much as Katie makes us laugh!

Wow! Buddy is one fine looking ideal of a labrador. Your pictures captured his personality very well, also. This very healthy looking guy is going to be a happy, muscular dog. Watch out for that ultra happy lab wag that sends his whole back end careening into someone or something unsuspecting & takes 'em down. A real hoot when you're on the observing end rather than the receiving end. Many happy years together & thanks for sharing.
I have two yellow lab boys, but I missed this age because I rescued them. The sheer cuteness is overwhelming, but the best is yet to come. Labs are the best. Loving, funny, protective...even jealous. My oldest lab, Barney barks and barks if one of my sons or husband kisses me. If they give me any kind of prolonged affection, it's downright comical. Barney gets sooooo mad, he doesn't know what to do, so he ends up barking his loudest and pawing at his ears after he barks, he barks so loud. I love my boys... all of them. I hope you enjoy yours as much. I know however much you love them, your love will be returned twofold. Best wishes with Buddy!

I've always thought that "a Lab is a Lab is a Lab" Not a whole lotta difference between one or another... Now, don't get me wrong, I think Labs are gorgeous and Lab puppies are super cute BUT this wee man takes Lab-dom to a whole new level.

He's smiling in his sleep!! How very cool!! Expect some incredible hugs from this lover boy. And, the chuckles you'll get when you see him trying to run. Dog love runs deep...enjoy this life long kiddo. He's beautiful!!
p.s. I have a little guy/big guy just like him. Same loveable huge paws. At 10 mos. he's 90 lbs. At first he was growing at an avg. rate of 10 lbs. per month...finally slowed down a bit. It's ok, my 8 lb yorkie thinks he's a horse.

He reminds me of my big boy, Kramer. He lived to be 15 years old, and we enjoyed every minute we had with him.

Hello all, I am Buddy's Auntie that submitted his pictures! I want to thank you all for all the wonderful comments! I am glad we could bring some smiles into everyones day! My fav pic is the last one, with the close up of his sweet little face, I want puppy kiss from him now!

Buddy is a really nice puppy, he plays with his uncle Sam so well. And Sam loves him. Buddy kisses Sam so much and Sam just takes it. They had a sleep over and they were so cute sleeping in the same bed together. Buddy is a great friend to his daddy too... healing the broken heart over a lost furry friend is a hard job, but Buddy is up to the task.

I will say, however, that I was originally looking for a Yellow girl. They are all sooooo beautiful & wonderful! I think our next canine furbaby may be a Yellow or Chocolate Boy. Seeing this little guy's face after receiving this sad news was really a comfort to me. Thank you for putting your Buddy's picture up today, it's always nice to see how such a small thing can really make a difference. Give him an extra treat from me.

steph: We're all so sorry for your loss. No single human can fathom how much a puppy can push our sorrows away. It does not in any way make your loss smaller, but it does remind us all that from great people such as your grandpop, come more blessings. I'm sure he touched many, and in some way may have interacted with some who eventually gave us Buddy. And maybe his soul is smiling inside this beautiful creature.
