Oh Charlie you are so beautiful. Please cherish and enjoy every moment you have with him. I have just today had my 13 year old collie, Sky put to sleep and it is so excrutiatingly painful - I can't bear it. Sorry to put a sad message. Lots of hugs and cuddles for Charlie.

My dentist can wait! I wasn't planning to log in today but i am soooo smitten by Charlie! His fur looks incredibly soft to touch. And look at his poses too - he looks like one totally adorable rambunctious puppy! Sigh! All the love in the world to Charlie! Hugs and kisses on those ears from me!
But isn't "getting into things" what puppies do best? Isn't it sort of their job? Oh, darlin' little Charlie, if I had a puppy, I'd definitely bring it over to play with you. Thank you all for the wonderful comments. I read every one to Charlie this morning as he was knawing on my hands LOL. I had to have my baby Shadow put to sleep due to cancer 4 weeks ago after having her for 13 years. My daughter and I couldn't stand the pain and loneliness of not having a dog and 4 days later we found Charlie. He will never replace Shadow, but he has brought a new and exciting challenge into our lives and we love him to death. Not a day goes by that he doesn't make us laugh as he explores everything around him. By the way...Charlie is into panty raids already!! LOL

When i read the comment from you about getting a new puppy , i think that is the best medicine there is , us dog lovers need a dog in our homes to love every day , and we dont try to replace the friend we lost , but we need a furkid to give our love to , it makes us complete , i am so happy that you got this beautiful baby to love , my 5 dogs would love playing with charlie : ) enjoy loving him !!1

I absolutely agree with those who see Duck Toller here! Charlie, who is an amazingly beautiful puppy, may be a muttley mix and very well some lab. Although he's still a baby I don't see the shepherd/husky but I'm certainly no expert. Truly, this is just curious chatter ... I don't care!! He's absolutely dog-gone adorable. If one can look at Charlie's photos and not smile, you simply have no soul. What a darling. Bless 'em all. Ontario, Canada

I'd believe it in a heartbeat. Someone else chewed the corner off the entertainment center and tore up an empty package of bacon.
Look Charlie, running and digging and all around playing are fine as long as you have permission and do it safely. I don't want to be mean, but you can't use your cuteness to get away with being naughty. Please consider Baloo the Bulldog, he knows how cute he is, but he doesn't take advantage of it. Cuteness like yours is a gift from God and not something to be taken lightly or abused as I fear you might do sometimes,knowing as you do that your puppy eyes and your fuzzy wuzzy ears and of course your white feet make it difficult be cross with you even if you have done, say, some inappropriate digging, like in those flowers next to the porch. Now please accept my 11 biscuits and tummy rubs along with my advice.
I'm in agreement on two points:
1) This is one really, really cute puppy; and 2) He looks like a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever to me. Perhaps one of those genetic tests could determine is lineage.

Ohh, Charrrlie~ You are a such a 'dorable, 'dorable doggie!!! My Bodie, {a 60+ lb., 7 mo. old Golden Retriever}, would LOVE to play with you! He can be a bit selfish, so you'd have to remind him to share, but he is always willing to share in the blame for any naughty misdeeds a pal might perpetrate, so he's good to have around!;) ~We've always wanted a chocolate lab doggie, and mmaaybe next time, we'll have one, just like YOU!

How adorable you are. I don't have a puppy here but I'll bet Drake would love to play with you. He is 8 year old but a lab and a puppy at heart. Seems labs are always a puppy no matter how old. I am sorry for your loss of Shadow and you're right, one dog does not replace another, but rather fills your home with love again. I did a double take when I saw Charlie! He looks so similar to our new little baby dog, Bear. The similarities are uncanny including the way he holds his tail along with white on his chest and paws.
