Frank is a rambunctious three-month-old dachshund. He is a very laid-back dog and sleeps at least 15 hours out of the day--I wish I could live his luxurious life. He loves being outside and is great at finding worms! He is the most spoiled puppy and loves cuddling. He's an excellent kiss giver and can put a smile on anyone's face. Tug o' war is by far his favorite activity (besides sleeping); he loves biting on everything and anything.

Curses, Daily Puppy, curses! How can you do this to us??? Kill us w/ this much cuteness! If Frank (frankfurter!) was on a bun I would eat him up. What a beautiful color and that nose, those ears, that face! Can't take it. Sweet Lil Frankie, you just keep on sleeping and finding those worms...little precious boy.

help! I dont seem to be in control of my commenting...I wanted to say that you look like my grandmother's dachshund, Fritzi, the very first dog I ever had the privilege to know. I was a dog lover from birth but wasn't allowed any pets - it's funny you mention worms because once I wanted a pet so bad I dug up a worm & kept it in a tin of dirt for a few days! Fritzi was so well trained, he would wait on the step for his harness & coat to be put on & let me tell you, doing that & then taking him for a walk was an honour not to be believed...once he ate a big box of Crayola crayons (you know, the BIG boxes) & us kids were just awestruck by his rainbow-coloured poop!He was a wonderful dog, you look just like him, & it's extra special because I'm about to depart Australia on Tuesday to go visit my amazing 96 yr old grandmother in Rochester NY who won't be around much longer. Adorable but looks like he could be as much of a little devil as my chis little sister who is a mini black/brown doxie who is the biggest lover/most lovable but the devil in disguise. Love the both of them. My constant companions.

Dog Vitamins said it best - dachshunds ARE the small dog redeemer. They don't act like toys and can go anywhere and do anything. Frank, you're a great looking pup and representative of your breed. Biscuits and lots of playtime for you!
I have to agree with Wheatie mom, dachshunds have the hunting dog in them regardless how small they are; not some shaking tiny sisis! Frank, you're the a cutie, have a lot of fun, wish you can meet my Milo, i think you guys can be good friends!

Dachshund's are not dogs,but part of the family, each with minds of their own. I am on my forth one in forty years, so I know of that of which I speck.
