My boyfriend and I are college students attending Michigan Technological University, studying to become engineers. We had been talking about getting a dog for over a year, but didn't think it was practical at the time. We had argued about what kind of dog we would get - I wanted a big dog that I could run with, while he wanted a small lap dog. One day before exams I was de-stressing and looking at baby animal pictures. I came across a picture of a husky puppy and we both looked at it and said "I want it". The next weekend we were headed to a concert in Wisconsin - it just so happened to be very close to where Max Haven Kennels was located. We took a small detour and looked at the beautiful Siberians that the kennel currently had, and we fell in love with the puppy from the photo online. We took him home that very same weekend. He has been a blessing and a joy to have around the house. It's great to take a study break to play with him or take him for a walk.

Those eyes, those paws! Loki is absolutely gorgeous. May I recommend the sport of cani-cross when Loki is older? Huskies love it! Google it for groups, harnesses, etc. Loki will need lots of exercise to keep the mischief under control. Here's to many years of joy & love with your wee laddie!
Absolutely gorgeous. And look at all the poses he strikes; he looks so smart and confident of himself and his extraordinary canine beauty. This boy is just too handsome to look at. If I were allowed to keep a dog...I would surely choose a Siberian Husky over all other breeds, they are truly an uncommon lot. Cheers to Loki's lucky owners...you guys have an all-round winner on your hands, take special care of him.

Loki is one of the cutest puppies I have ever seen! His serious look with those blue eyes is just adorable. I am sure he is so much fun! Lots and lots of hugs and kisses from Sadie and me.

I wonder as the time goes by with great effort time and care, if you will both be there for her in good times and in bad.
before she gets much older make sure shes get used of being mulled by kids. my younger dog who's turning one is doing great with them. however my 10 year old, who's very small would rather just play with him. he shys away from children and now we know just why. our son was a teenage when we got him and no kids lived on the block.

Loki is just adorable!!! Once you get a husky of any kind, you'll never want to go back! They are simply the best. My husky mix, though nearly 50 pounds, still considers himself a lapdog for those who let him up. So if you husband doesn't mind a warm soft "husky blanket", he might be able to get his lapdog too! An added bonus is that huskies are very clean dogs -just be prepared for LOTS and LOTS of fur and shedding!

Awe. He is sooooo cute. My female husky just had 6 puppies back in November. They were all so sweet, and it was hard seeing them go. I kept one and my brother kept two. They are the best puppies. We do have a problem with our huskies running away so keep your eyes on him when he gets older.
