Marley's mom says: Marley is 6 weeks old and on the rare occasions when shes not sleeping, she loves to play. She's doing very well with potty training with very few accidents. Marley loves to eat snow and chew on anything she can find. She loves kids and meeting new people. It doesn't matter who you are if she's tired she'll crawl up in your lap and fall asleep. We've only had Marley for a week but we've already fell in love with her.

Picking a favorite pose of this adorable puppy was VERY hard. She is so precious - she can curl up in my lap any time she wants. My lab mix and I will smother her with kisses, hugs and belly rubs or licks. I could look at her all day but must work. Many happy years with her and give her lots of love from me and my Abby.

You have to make sure she is socialized with dogs bc usually puppies are kept with their mothers/littermates until 8 weeks for proper socialization.

Pwecious widdle baby!!! Black lab puppies are little round dolls with doll's eyes. I have 2 black lab/chow mix 8 year olds. I work at home at night and they sleep next to my PC on their backs with paws up. If I feel hyper, I can lie down with my head on their bellies and have a relaxation session - they love it and it calms me down. You will love your black lab - congratulations on a beautiful little button of a puppy!!

when i was little we owned a jack russel named whisky. Then we had a staffordshire bull terrier named Max. My parents split up back in 1995, my mum owns a lhasa apso named oliver, my dad now owns a staffordshire bull terrier named ruby. My sister who moved out years ago owns a labrador named roxy.

She's very cute, but isn't 5 weeks a bit young to come away from her mother? The recommended guidelines say puppies should not be weaned younger than 8 weeks.

mk - You are preaching to the wrong people. I believe the people on this site give their dogs great forever homes. We are not responsible for abandoned dogs. A dog is a great commitment in time, money and emotion and you can't dictate what we choose to lavish our attention on whether it is a pure breed from a breeder or a mix ( or purebreed) from a shelter. I have both types in my pack. I don't feel guilty for having bought from breeders. Having said that I do urge all to donate (time or money or both!) to your local animal shelter.

She is to young. Puppy's are like children, they grow up stronger and healther if they have mothers milk for a while longer then this.
Would ypu go out and take a new mothers baby away from her after only 6 weeks. You say you had her a week.
Unless her mother died. You were unfair. I hope you rescured her so young for a good reason.
I have been around animals all my life. I have seen the diffrances in the young who are taken early and regardless of how much love one has, the diffrances show up befor the pup's are 6 months old.
Guard and love your new pet, with the tender loving care of a parent and I pray you all have good luck.

A mothers love can not erase. Be good loving folks as you sound to be, keep her warm and comfert her always.
ps I have a small rare mix breed dog. I raised him, only since hus mother was killed, when he was 13 weeks old. He's 9 years and still as healthy as a newborn pup. Good Luck
Would ypu go out and take a new mothers baby away from her after only 6 weeks. You say you had her a week.
Unless her mother died. You were unfair. I hope you rescured her so young for a good reason.
I have been around animals all my life. I have seen the diffrances in the young who are taken early and regardless of how much love one has, the diffrances show up befor the pup's are 6 months old.

Marley is just beautiful & soooo sweet!!! I can't help thinking about my black lab Sharah when I see Marley's pics. Very bittersweet... Sharah was the most beautiful, smartest & sweetest pup---& I love boxers too. What a perfect combination you have!! Are her eyes blue/green?? Striking against the black furry face!

Marley is the cutest, especially the puppy tummy. Lab mixes are the best. My black lab mix Bailey has the exact white patch on his chest also. Marley looks fantastic in purple. Many happy playful years with her!!!

We Love Marley's eyes! Such a gorgeous dog. I think you may have to watch what she eats! Labs are prone to 'Love' food! lol
I know I made a comment about her being soo young earlier and I just wanted to let u know that I dooo believe she is in a good home. Marley's Momma sounds like a good proud mommy indeed. 8 weeks is a common weaning week, however there are always different circumstances that would call for weaning earlier. I AM NOT JUDGING.

Wow Marley is adorable, I recently( 9 weeks ago) Adopted a cute little Lab mix pup. I will post pics of here and her younger big brother at a later date. It turns out she too was a boxer/lab mix. And we never knew the father's breed but knew her mother was a beautiful pure bred Black lab. When I saw those pics of Marley it was like looking at my Bama. They have an identical face at around the same age and they have identical colors with the all black, milky bottom lip and toes and even a small white patch on her chest. It honestly looked like her long lost twin. I figured Bama for a boxer mix because thats how she plays....exactly like a boxer, with the chewing and paws up she makes for a very energetic little pup. be on the look out for Her appearance and her younger big brother Rebel. They make a cute couple and very funny and entertaining addition to my family.

hello! we didnt know what our lab was mixed with and a lot of people tell me hes mixed with boxer or pit! marley is very cute! she looks a lot like my 6 month old chevy! maybe theyre cousins! lol

I have a puppy who is 4 months old and is almost identical to yours! He's got the white chin and chest only with a loittle more boxer in the face. So cute! His name is Titus!
We had a Chihuahua/Black Lab/shepherd mix. The father was the chihuahua and the mother was the lab/shepherd mix. She was 12 when we had to put her to sleep Christmas morning. She looked a lot, a whole lot, like Marley. She was absolutely our baby. Ten members of the family were with her to say good-bye. I miss her so much.
