What a beautiful brindle baby - reminds me so much of our Texas, especially with the prone position (laying on the belly) and unique choice of sleeping angle.

Either Marley is just a baby or that's Garfield on the sofa with him. What a sweet boy. I never cease to be amazed by the uncomfortable positions in which dogs sleep. I had a dog who slept with his head propped against door jambs. Ouch.

I have a 4 year old 90 lb. boxer named Joe, he is the greatest joy in my life, he still thinks he is a lap dog. Hope you enjoy many years with your beautiful boxer!

Awwww. Marley is so cute. His kitty brother is bigger than he is! I had a boxer when I was a child named Rusty and he was priceless. Smart, loving, sweet natured and loyal. Marley, looks like you've got it made!

Boxers used to scare me (all that jumping on you! I'm only 5'1"!) but now that cat frightens me more. Cutest puppy tho.

Sorry. Tiny dogs with gangly legs are hilarious. Puppies are such extremes. Either they are snubby and stubby, squishy and floppy, or completely made out of legs. Sometimes they fulfill more than one category! That's when you've REALLY struck gold. From seeing the stair-sleeping picture and the photo of him snoozing in your arms, I suspect Marley is one of the multi-category bunch. Tee hee!

What a face! Didn't realize how tiny he is until the pic with the cat; that cat's going to be a bit disconcerted when he realises that the little pup that wasn't TOO much trouble keeps on getting bigger... and bigger... and bigger...!
I had a dog that chose to sleep with her head on a hard and lumpy pile of tools rather than, for instance, the flat floor next to the pile of tools.

Your pictures of Marley sleeping remind me of my Maddie girl (boxer puppy from August). I thought it was funny that you said Marley loves his squeeky toys, Maddie is crazy for them too! So are her 3 other boxer friends. You will love your boxer! I'm sure he loves to be close to people too, that wont change. Enjoy all the FUN!

I love the picture asleep on the stairs. It just goes to show that a Boxer can and will sleep anywhere. They are so amazing at that age. They have two speeds bouncey and asleep. I agree that you will look back on those pictures and wonder how the big lap dog you have now was ever small enough to fit in your arms. Enjoy your adorable puppy.

all of your comments are great! We will never crop the ears.. and Eli (the cat) has been put on a low fat/low carb diet since then! Its funny you say that the cat will be surprised once he sees how big marley gets! Boy isnt that the truth!! Marley is 44lbs and he completely towers over our cat! But Eli gets just as much attention as Marley so they are both equally happy! Marley is the same as he looks in these pictures! Full of Energy, personalitiy and surprises! He is always looking to cause trouble but he really is a great Pup!

Marley: the epitome of boxerness cute. Ours was able to leap tall fences in a single bound, drag trash cans to the curb on pick up day and get rid of those pesky flies in the summer! Would love to see Marley do the boxer rump wiggle.

whoa. that is a seriously beautiful dog you've got there. your cat looks like a character, too. does he put the pup in his place? marley is so cute, and the picture on the stairs is a real classic. does he do that often? i think it might be a boxer thing, as we found our boxer like that a few times.

When I chose my rescue dog... american bulldog, I was on the fence about a boxer. I think after those cute pictures I will have to have a playmate for my Nala! I hope you have many, many years of hapiness with your little angel.

oh my god, that is so wierd, your little puppy looks just, and i mean exactly like my dog, down to the white on the toes, it is so strange, the markings are exactly in the same place, they are like clones, i hope you dont mind that i save that picture and tell people that that is what my dog would have looked like as a puppy, please email me at kwolf94@hotmail.com, please, we can share stories.

boxers are such wonderful dogs, despite the bad rep they seem to have and Marley is so adorable! I love the picture with the cat too :) He is just too cute for words!!!! I cannot wait until I can adopt one!

Boxers are the best breed in the world! I don't are what anyone says. Very loving and loyal and playful and just snuggly!!! I have had two and by far my fav breed ever!
