Puppy Breed: Australian Shepherd

Mercury's mom says: Mercury, a mini Australian shepherd, is the sweetest, most gentle and crazy pup we have ever met. He throws himself on your lap whenever he can and stretches out so you donâ€™t miss a spot when patting him. He quickly learned to ring a small bell with his paw to signal he needed to go out. He completely enjoys our other family members (two papillons and two cats) although he needs to â€œleave the cats aloneâ€! We had a standard Aussie for 15 years and adored him. Mercuryâ€™s endearing personality reminds us so much of our Hero, we are so lucky. Mercuryâ€™s brother Blaze lives with my daughter, and when she visits itâ€™s complete bedlam!

THAT NOSE!!!!!!!! Aaaaargh!! And with that FLUFFY bonce too! So very,very adorable. Gorgeous colouring too, and I see that posing is instinctive- that's got to be a cute-on-purpose pose with the pig's ear!

Great pups!

Growing up, we had a Border Collie named Freckles. Smartest dog ever. Never needed a leash. Wonderful animal. Perfect for children.

Absolutely adorable! Sheperds are amazingly sweet- they are so in love, devout and protective of their herd, ahem, I mean family:) His markings are so stricking, he'll be mighty handsome when he's all grown up! Thanks for sharing your little sweetheart with us:)

I call 'em like I see 'em, and I CALL NOSE DOTS! Seriously, folks, that is the most spectacular pair of nose dots I have ever seen! I am surprised that the photographers were able to tear their fingers away from those dots long enough to take pictures. I don't think I would have been able to do that. All of my pictures would have one of my hands in the frame, lovingly touching those nosie dots.

This little guy was just so adorable I did some research and decided I have to have one. I put a deposit down on a little girl yesterday. She was born Jan 31st so she'll be ready to come to her REAL home by the end of March!

I loved this little guy's expressions so much that I did some research and found a little girl that I named Jazz! She is so full of love and so happy that she's brightened every day that I've had. ANYONE thinking of a puppy should check this breed out... great with kids, other pets and they love to please so they're easy to train!
