Sammy's mom says: Sammy is a tricolour beagle with a broken back of colour which makes her unusual and special. Sammy is four months old at the moment, so she wants to chew pretty much everything. Thankfully we have been able to distract her with many her many squeeky toys and chews!! She grasps commands really quickly and can perform sit, paw, down, and roll over... as long as her reward is something chicken flavoured!! She loves the park. She can't wait to be outside and see what's going on. She gives great cuddles and gives her owners great joy. We are very proud parents!!

okay, that's it. I am totally enamored of Miss Sammy. She looks soooo soft. The photos are fab. I imagine that sad look she works up makes you give her (and forgive her) any thing she wants. What a beautiful little girl! Kisses to her! and a chicken flavoured treat!

OMG - those eyes are irresistable! Thank goodness she's not mine; she would get away with murder!! Beagles are just about the cutest thing on the planet anyway, but she really takes things up a notch! Congrats on such a beautiful baby!

Beagles are what happens when the world has had enough sadness and horror and decides to put forth something that is pure hilarity. It is not possible to look at Sammy and disagree with this.

I want to munch on this dog's belly. You fellow dog lovers know what I'm talking about. You want to do it, too. You want to pick Sammy up and snorgle her belly for days. Don't deny it! It's okay. It's perfectly natural to desire this.

Beagles are, as Bug's Mom says, "the greatest dogs ever invented." As nothing can do Sammy justice, I will leave you all with two beagle trivia tidbits that will send you into conniptions of cuteness:

1) Beagles were used for hunting in olden times, but because their legs were shorter than traditional hunting dogs, they were carried in saddlebags until needed.

2) There is a beagle in my neighborhood whose owner had to get an invisible fence for her because she would escape. She was easy to find, though, because she always went to the same place: she would walk around the corner to KFC restaurant.

Years ago we had two Beagles, loved them..My husband would take them out to the woods for a run. One day they got the scent of a bunny and were gone.. They would run til exhausted. He came home without them, but every two hours would drive back and call their names...Darkness finally fell over this wooded area and there he was calling for his girls loud and long.... Giiina, Tiiiina, feeling rather embarrassed,as it became a lovers lane in the evening. At last they came home wagging their tails behind them....

Beagle Mania has hit the scene today. Featuring the ever so adorable Sammy. Her gaze is just heavenly. I love the pic of her watching her owner working outside. She is thinking "Yeah Buddy, get that grass handled." Then she gives you the look as you take the other pic's like "I know I'm cute. Now what?" She is so funny how she uses her tail to talk. I think the p[ic with the papers and her tail is straight up she's saying "So do you love me? How much do you love me? Do you love me enough that if I missed I won't get yelled at?" She looks like she was having a good time playing there. My one pug wouldn't pee outside no matter how much you walked her. She always waited until we got back in.

Sammy looks our beagle Bernie! I'm always glad to see beagle puppies because we adopted Bernie when he was two, so we never got to see him as a puppy - and I'm especially glad to see Sammy since she looks like Bernie might have at that age! She is just gorgeous.

And, as other people have noted, she will keep you in stitches - we've had Bernie for over a year and still, at least once a day, he does something so incredibly goofy that we laugh until we cry.

GoPups, I totally agree with you. I come to this website constantly. My reaction to frustration, sadness, anger, or boredom is to come here to look at the dogs. It is also my reaction to happiness, excitement, sleepiness, thirst, and hunger. I pretty much come here in reaction to anything, including weather of any type.

From one beagle lover to another, SAMMY is just the most cutest snugglebear sweetpea I've ever seen!!!!!!! I'm on my fourth beagle (I have two now) and am AMAZED at how much personality each one has. Those HUMONGOUS BROWN EYES, and the soft floppy ears- you can't HELP BUT JUST WANT TO SNUGGLE AND KISS HIMM IN ALL OF HIS BEAGLE BEAUTY!!!!!

Looove those markings! Just shows that breeders should NOT favour the tris with a solid black saddle, because beagles can and should come in many crazy and beautiful coats!
