Sputnik is an almost three year old Cockalier, which is a hybrid of a Cocker Spaniel and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She was born in Rhode Island, but now lives in Connecticut. We initially hoped Sputnik would become a frisbee dog, but it became quickly apparent that she much prefers to snuggle with her mom as opposed to chasing a frisbee. Sputnik is incredibly kind and loving. She is able to sense moods very easily and enjoys nothing more than hanging out with humans and getting her belly rubbed.

Banjo is a fourteen week year old Australian Shepherd. She is full of energy and loves to chew on bones and stuffed animals. She is the sweetest little girl and loves her big sister Sputnik who was featured in 2008 as a "Grown Up Dog of the Day" (http://www.dailypuppy.com/dogs/sputnik-the-spaniel-mix_2008-09-08). She is a happy dog who loves her family.
